I replaced a case that had functionality that I liked, but I use my iPad for both business and personal, and after only a couple of months, the case was showing wear. I've only had this new case for a couple of months, but not only does it still look like new, it also feels much sturdier and more luxurious. I love it.Fits iPad perfect an pencil holder is very nice. Love this!This is only my 2nd iPad case, but it's an amazing improvement over the last one (a Targus no less), and it just adds a touch of beauty (yes!) to my day. I am now reporting after about 6 weeks' of use.Pros:1. It seems quite protective should I drop it (not yet tested).2. In that regard, it seems to have struck the right balance between weight and protection.3. Inserting and removing the iPad is quick and easy, though I prefer just to keep it in the case for protection.4. The cover folds back perfectly for reading or to place it on a music stand.5. The magnetic closure serves triple duty well: a. closing the case as one would hope, b. holding the case "closed" in the open/folded back position for reading or use on a music stand c. allows one to fold the closure back and keep it out of the way during use in landscape for typing etc.6. The case is almost a work of origami: a. fold it one way for reading, etc. as above; b. another way for sitting on a table or lap (with choice of several different viewing angles) c. A special typing angle that is more ergonomic for use of the virtual keyboard7. The buttons and cut-outs are spot-on. (One button was tight upon receipt, but was working normally within a couple of weeks.)8. The speaker cut outs allow one to enjoy the full volume produced by the speakers. (The Targus advertised that their perforated ones would "scoop" the sound toward me, but my experience was that it dampened the sound compared to the Antbox.)9. The upgraded fabric is both lovely and functional. a. The light blue is somewhat of a subdued teal, and beautiful. b. As another reviewer had mentioned, the suede-like texture provides seems to reduce chance of it slipping out of one's hands or sliding on a table.10. Holds & simultaneously charges the Apple Pencil well (securely in my experience), with a slot that enables you to just pop it out.11. It is compatible with my glass (Sparin: ASIN B07PKQ9FH1) protector, which I also like.12. Has auto-wake, auto-sleep/lock function, and it seems to be working (it clicks when you close the case -- if the iPad was unlocked at the time).Cons: none for me. Some people might want a pocket, but that would add to the weight. I prefer it as-is.I don't usually love things, but this one just combines beauty, function, and elegance of design. After looking at probably 30 cases carefully before selecting this one, this one had everything I wanted -- and more; it has not disappointed. In my opinion, it's a worthwhile investment to protect an even pricier one.Update after 1 year of use: my opinions haven't changed. I still appreciate -- even enjoy -- this case as much. However, still have not dropped it yet, so can't report on that subject. It's rare for me to enjoy a thing, but I still often smile when I see or use this case: great function with some "beauty".Have not dropped it yet, but the case feels very solid and all of the outlets are in the right spots, which can be hard to find with Amazon iPad cases. Pen charger works well. Recommend!I love the materials used in the case. It’s soft, elegant, and functional. The casing is soft and flexible which is really nice. Would prefer the branding away from the clasp but it’s a minor gripe. Worth the price.Knocked a star for the lack of anti slip surface which is really annoying. Not only is the color gorgeous but the leather (feels like suede) is high quality. It’s got a magnetic closure tab that works when closed and also to hold the cover in place when open to use on a flat surface or my lap.The buttons, even though they’re protected, work perfectly which is not always the case. The Apple Pencil holder is brilliant. It charges the pencil while in place. My old one was on the back of the case and I’d always forget to put the pencil in it, thus losing my pencil several times a day (I know that’s a user error haha) but now I’ll never lose it. Plus I’d have to remember to charge the pencil. These issues no longer apply to me. Yay!The iPad fits so snug into the case that I was worried at first I’d ordered the wrong size but it fits like a good glove. And the grooves for angling the iPad upright for movie watching or whatever are excellent. My old one sucked, would keep the iPad where I positioned it. This one keeps it in place, I think because the grooves are deep enough and the type of plastic used for the main body works well to create friction against the suede like feel of the leather.I don’t write reviews all that often but really felt compelled to do one for this. Totally worth the $33.00. I highly recommend. If my opinion changes I will update this review but for now, if you’re hesitant, don’t be.Very sturdy case. Strong magnet secures it when closed and provides reliable on-off. Very easy to hold in vertical or portrait positions. Excellent protection for camera due to raised edges. Pencil is secured in side pocket and charges easily. This is best case I have had for any of my iPads. I recommend it and would repeat this purchase.I purchased this case for my daughter’s iPad and she absolutely loves it! Being an 11-year-old she’s a little bit rough on the case and it’s held up pretty well. Just a few little frays around the edges but other than that it looks almost brand new.It’s my second product from antbox and it never disappoints. The material and sturdiness made me invest on this case for my ipadpro.Fits my 11 inch gen 2 iPad perfectly. Looks nice. Feels nice. Can’t judge it’s durability yet as I haven’t had it long enough.The one thing that is in a bad spot is the pencil holder, the volume buttons do not work properly. You have to press real hard for the buttons to work. It would have been better on the other side of the case, the lower portion.
