If you are in the market for a ridiculously expensive but high quality case for your paperwork than this pelican is just what you need. Being in law enforcement most plastic file containers crumble or leave much to be desired giving you wet or ruined forms. This case is tuff, like fall out of the patrol car at highway speed tuff. I don’t worry about weapons or gear crushing my forms and if I did happen to find my patrol car in a body of water the one way valve will ensure dry and ready forms once recovered. The topside organized I haven’t utilized but I guess I could toss in some paperclips and other officy stuff if needed.Did not receive the file organizer, straps, nothing. Just the case and the foam inserts. Will be returning.Opted for this over a soft shoulder bag to carry my gear around at weddings so I could leave the larger Pelican 1650 case in the care or at the venue. It is a fantastic case. A little but harder to carry around than a soft case, but the protection is worth it! Once you use it a few times you get used to where it sits and how it handles.The advantage to this is add a security lock and a bike cable and you can be worry free about leaving it places while you are photographing! Just make sure you tether it to something substantial!It’s great to have as a mobile office… Partitions are great and I don’t have to worry about what’s inside and how it will be effected.Love that I don't have to worry about my documents being damaged. Wish there were a slightly bigger one. And if you take out the insert there is a lot more space.The case and inserts that showed up were not As described. I was specifically looking for a case that had the five compartment lid organizer. The one that came is totally different and the zippers are garbage. And for some reason it came with two lid organizers, both the same.The interior setup is different than the pictures as well. I was looking for a multi compartment for electronics equipment, but it came as a file organizer. And there is no zipper lid on the main compartment like the picture.Contacting amazon customer service was a nightmare. The poor Indian woman had no clue what I was talking about and could not provide a solution. She said to return it and re order the right item, but this is the right item, it just doesn’t arrive as described.I liked the material and it is spacious to carry folders importantThese are great for our onboard storage of vital files and documents or even a laptop or other electronic gear (using the neoprene sling included as an option to file hangarbrackets) that must have the protection level that Pelican cases are known for.
