The Student series was developed at a Kaweco shop in Heidelberg for the students of the University of Heidelberg as a thank you for their support. 

The Kaweco Student cap and body are made from a high-quality black resin, with silver-tone chrome trim, finial, and grip section. The fountain pen features a screw-on cap, metal clip and smooth stainless steel nib, which is stamped with scrollwork, the Kaweco logo the words "Germany, since 1883”. The pen measures 13cm capped and 16cm when posted.
