I bought this mechanical pencil because it was slim and smooth, and the finger grip area was made by etching the steel rather than with rubber. This meant my pencil would slide easily in and out of the pen holder on my planner binder. This pencil arrived as scheduled. It was very neatly packaged -- and that impressed me. This is a beautifully made piece, wonderful to hold, and it's weighted just right for easy writing. It's easy to refill the lead -- just remove the eraser and drop the lead in the hole. And it's easy to advance the lead while writing. I really love this pencil and think I'll have to buy another one.
